Nightmare with a Key Logger Worm

It all started when a USB from a friend of my sister was being double-clicked in My Computer causing the Virus/malware to run in our system (autorun.inf) automatically. At first I didn’t know that our laptop was infected by this virus/malware, and my sister didn’t even tell me about it, and so I was innocent.

When I sign-in in my Yahoo Messenger and open my email, all my Read messages are gone! I even don’t remember that I deleted my own messages. This irritated me a lot because all my important files are there including my case studies and case presentation! In addition to that, I hurriedly click my Trash but then, I found nothing! My messages are all being deleted!

I called my brother who is a Computer Science student and ask what the hell I deleted my own messages? “No, the key logger virus deleted it after you have signed-on in your Yahoo Messenger.” He said.

That was the most Damn part of my life. I want to crash the USB of my sister’s friend. I can’t bring all my messages back, is Yahoo responsible for this kind of virus? Nah, users should be responsible in maintaining their computers/laptops free from virus. To get rid off this kind of experience, I made a simple article on to How to Open USB Safely in your Computer. I call my sister’s friend A Stranger because she is the one who brings nightmare in part of me.
